The first picture highlights both the rule of thirds and the woes of barrel distortion.  After tinkering with it for a while, I decided it simply looked better with the wacky lines.  The model’s name is JR.  He’s a great dog!

My other two shots highlight texture, lines and light.  Enjoy!

More to come… again… literally.  This weather has me on the move!

I really had a heyday on Easter!

More to come.  Seriously.  I have about a billion more pictures I want to play with.

Yes, I used poster edges (sorry).  The effect the filter had on the basket was just too optimal to pass up.  Once again, this was shot at my cousin’s house during Easter.  You should get a heavy dose from that day over the next few weeks, I took a lot of pictures!

I shot this picture at my cousin’s home during Easter.  The paint had decided long ago to start receding!  Look closely and you can see the sky and some green grass through the window.

More to come.

Today I obtained a new lens for my camera.  Hopefully I can start creating some more interesting portraiture and work with low light.  This lens lets in so much light!  Bre was nice enough to model for me (she is cheesy!).

At the Gateway!

Seemed like a good time to post a picture.  Only one today!

The monsters are among us!

Crews have been building up this snow pile on south campus for almost a month.  It’s probably at least over 20 feet tall!

They’ve built ramps up the sides so trucks can dump more snow on top… oh the value of space.

These pictures were all taken over Thanksgiving break, and highlight several areas around my grandparents’ house.  These were all very fun to shoot, and required minimal edits.  Enjoy!
